MA, is a widely used programming software from Germany. Here you can learn to patch in your own set of lighting devices and get a better handle on how to control them and build cues and sequences to put together your own show. This tutorial series is currently a few years old and doesn’t include any audio.

Vectorworks

A computer aided drafting programme that can put your ideas down onto a plan, whether your designs are architectural, landscaping related or specific to this training series, entertainment related. This tutorial series is recent, and focuses primarily on the spotlight tools within Vectorworks.

ETC EOS

The theatrical competitor to the GrandMA. A very refined and designer centric lighting software from the US, that is known for its colour accuracy. It has recently begun to include the Augment3D engine, which helps visualise your concepts with more detail.
